Words, Words, Words

This, of course, is a line from Shakespeare, whom I used to hate (just take a look at my last name and guess), but have gained respect for as a result of Hamlet.

These words are my words, in columns in publications and elsewhere, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." (Shakespeare) Most of these pieces were written in college, but I have included a link to an online newsletter I publish where some of my more recent writing has gone online.

"Just how I see it"

The column I write for the EC Update Digest always closes with this phrase, hence the title - tagline really - of the column. This is my most recent writing online, and best example of my current efforts.

University Journal

The UJ is the paper which I wrote for at UVa. In February 1996, a friend (who happened to be the EiC) convinced me to become the Editorial Editor, so I became the last full term Editorial Editor of the now-defunct University Journal. It was a bunch o' fun and I'm sorry to have seen the paper go.

Herford College News

I had a column called Bovine Ruminations in the Hereford College newsletter which used to get published about every two or three weeks. It's what first got me into writing. These are my columns.

(Hereford College is the Residential College where I lived at U.Va.)

Other Writing

These are just some pieces I have written for various reasons. Some academic. Some personal. Some vocational.
